Romania secures second victory at the European League tournament in Riga

Looking ahead, Romania's upcoming matches are scheduled for 12-14 June in Blaj, where they will compete against Albania and Montenegro. Following that, they will participate in another tournament in Lithuania from 19-21 June, taking on Portugal and Lithuania.

The stakes are high, as the top four teams from the general ranking will qualify for the Final Four tournament. This league serves as a crucial preparation stage for Romania, who will compete in the European Championship from 21 August to 6 September 2026, joining a challenging group that includes Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Azerbaijan.
