Larisa Iordache celebrates gymnastics while nurturing the next generation

Larisa Iordache, a celebrated gymnast with 21 medals from major competitions, is not only a sports icon but also a dedicated mentor. She has recently opened a sports center with her husband, Cristian Chirița, aimed at introducing children to the wonderful world of gymnastics.

The center also offers table tennis lessons, broadening the scope of activities available for young athletes. Larisa’s passion for gymnastics is evident as she shares her expertise and love for the sport with the next generation.

In addition to her achievements, Larisa has reflected on her own journey, recalling special moments from her training camps in Deva and Izvorani. She proudly emphasizes her connection with other gymnastics legends, having met the renowned Simone Biles and shared heartfelt memories with Nadia Comăneci.

Larisa considers her daughter, Amira, to be her most precious medal, highlighting the importance of family in her life. She has also assembled an ideal team of gymnasts, including notable names such as Andreea Răducan, Monica Roșu, and Cătălina Ponor, declaring that this team would receive a perfect score of 10.

With her impressive record, including a bronze medal with the Romanian team at the 2012 London Olympics, Larisa Iordache continues to inspire both on and off the mat, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and nurturing future talent.
