Alexandru Băluță prepares for new beginnings with Poli Timișoara
After a challenging period abroad, Alexandru Băluță is ready to embrace a fresh start with Poli Timișoara. The 32-year-old player, who is now a free agent, is set to join the team following his departure from FCSB last summer.
Băluță spent the last year playing for Los Angeles FC and Boluspor, where he signed a six-month contract in January. Reflecting on his experience, he remarked on the difficulties faced during his time in Turkey, stating, 'Sunt liber de contract acum, după experiența neplăcută din Turcia.' Despite the setbacks, he remains optimistic about his future, saying, 'O să am răbdare și voi fi optimist în ceea ce privește viitorul meu.'
Poli Timișoara, having just promoted to Liga 2 this season, is gaining a player with significant experience in the SuperLiga, where Băluță has previously played for teams like Farul Constanța, Chindia, FCSB, and Universitatea Craiova. His market value stands at 400,000 euros, according to Transfermarkt.
Băluță expressed his eagerness to return to the pitch, stating, 'Îmi e dor de fotbal, ce-i drept, pentru că meritam mai mult la cum m-am comportat în toată perioada din America, dar și din Turcia.' He is motivated to give his best in the coming years, aiming to retire with a sense of fulfillment.
With a positive mindset, he shared, 'Mă bucur că nu am avut parte de accidentări grave și încă am șansa de a juca.' His confidence in his abilities shines through as he looks forward to making impactful contributions to his new team.
