Project Peştera II marks a significant leap in renewable energy investment in Romania
The Peştera II wind project in Constanţa County is set to become one of Romania's largest investments in renewable energy, boasting a total installed capacity of 392 MW. This ambitious initiative highlights Romania's growing commitment to sustainable energy and positions the country as a competitive player in the infrastructure investment landscape.
Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), leveraging its Growth Markets Fund II, has turned to EY-Parthenon România for expert consultancy on this landmark project. EY-Parthenon's support has encompassed a range of financial services, including financial due diligence, tax due diligence, and financial modeling, all crucial for navigating the complex financing structure of the transaction.

The project is expected to significantly enhance Romania's renewable energy capacity, contributing to the nation’s energy security objectives. It embodies a pivotal step in strengthening Romania's appeal as a destination for large-scale infrastructure investments.
