Invictus România to Celebrate National Flag Day with a 100-Meter Flag on Parângul Mare

On June 26, 2026, members of Invictus România will honor National Flag Day with a symbolic ascent of Parângul Mare, showcasing the unity of the nation through a remarkable 100-meter tricolor flag. This event, now in its fifth edition, emphasizes the commitment to upholding national values and symbols.

This year, over 100 participants, including injured soldiers from various military operations, will carry the impressive flag to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice made by the nation's heroes. Since its inception in 2022, when volunteers first celebrated National Flag Day by climbing Moldoveanu, the highest peak in the country, Invictus România has continued to create memorable events. Previous editions have seen climbers reach significant locations such as the Heroes' Cross in Caraiman, Negoiu Peak, and Omu Peak, each ascent filled with meaning and respect for the nation's heritage.
