USR aims for a reformist majority in future elections

Dominic Fritz, the president of Uniunea Salvați România (USR), is committed to building a reformist majority in the upcoming elections. USR's goal is clear: to provide governance free from PSD and AUR and to restore public trust among voters.

The party has recently showcased the achievements of its ministers, who have been both visible and proactive in tackling corruption and exposing various misdeeds. Their concrete solutions aim to improve public services and bolster job creation, exemplified by the successful rescue of SAFE.

Fritz highlighted the need for transparency and honesty in governance, criticizing the current PSD-led government for its lack of integrity. He pointed out that many Romanians are feeling the pinch of inflation and rising prices, emphasizing that real reform is essential for restoring faith in the institutions that have been captured by political interests surrounding PSD.

As USR prepares for future parliamentary sessions, they will collaborate with PNL on joint initiatives, aiming to make a positive impact without opposing beneficial projects out of pride. Fritz affirmed that the party will engage with citizens across the country, ensuring their voices are heard.

Despite the challenges posed by PSD's majority and its collaboration with AUR, USR remains undeterred. The leadership is considering a potential right-wing alliance for the 2028 parliamentary elections, reflecting their strategic approach to building a broad coalition of political and civic forces.

Fritz acknowledged the disappointment many voters feel towards Nicușor Dan, the current president of Romania, and stressed the importance of rebuilding that trust. He also noted that the party has faced attacks in the media, fueled by public funds from PSD and AUR to undermine USR's credibility.

In a landscape marked by challenges, Dominic Fritz and USR are determined to push for real change, advocating for a government that prioritizes the needs and aspirations of the Romanian people.
