Universitatea Craiova takes the lead in Superliga after dominant win

Universitatea Craiova has climbed to the top of the Superliga standings, sharing the position with FCSB and FC Argeș. This achievement follows their impressive 4-0 victory at home against Petrolul Ploiești.

Nsimba was a standout performer, scoring two goals in the opening 18 minutes, setting the tone for the match. Three minutes after the halftime break, Ştefan Baiaram added to the tally, and Elisor capped off the scoring in the 65th minute, sealing a remarkable win for the home team.

The defeat leaves Ploiești struggling as they drop to the 13th position in the league. Meanwhile, FC Voluntari also celebrated a victory, defeating UTA 1-0, with Marvin Schieb netting the only goal in the 47th minute.
