Ten Romanian Air Force Members Promoted in Recognition of Successful Missions
In a ceremony held on Wednesday, ten members of the Romanian Air Force were promoted, highlighting their commitment and success in recent missions. Radu Miruță, the interim Minister of Defense, emphasized the importance of recognizing the professionals within the military who contribute to Romania's security.
The ceremony took place at Baza 86 Aeriană Borcea, which was also visited by both Radu Miruță and General-locotenent Leonard Baraboi, the Chief of the Air Force Staff. During the visit, they discussed the successful operations against drones conducted in Romania and Lithuania, which have been acknowledged as effective.
Radu Miruță took the opportunity to analyze the security situation at the Ukrainian border, reassuring that the Romanian Army remains vigilant. He stated that the military is continuously assessing all scenarios, day and night, to ensure the safety of the nation. Miruță urged commanders to fully utilize all available capabilities, stressing that Romania's safety is not a matter of luck.
He expressed gratitude and respect for the military professionals involved in these operations, highlighting that there is a dedicated team behind every mission. Miruță also noted that these missions were carried out without endangering the civilian population, reinforcing the commitment of the Romanian Armed Forces to protect its citizens.
