Students to benefit from new master's programs through Radio Romania and UNATC partnership
A new strategic partnership between Radio România and the Universitatea Națională de Artă Teatrală și Cinematografică I.L. Caragiale promises exciting opportunities for students in the fields of sound creation and radio theatre. This agreement will be in effect for the next five years, focusing on developing and implementing master's degree programs in audio production and storytelling.
Students at UNATC will gain hands-on experience with internships and practical programs, providing them with direct access to Radio România's top-tier technical infrastructure. Additionally, they will benefit from the exceptional sound heritage of the public radio, guided by recognized mentors and specialists from the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Society (SRR).
The collaboration will also ensure that students' projects can be realized in partnership with public radio, offering immediate validation of their work by industry professionals. This initiative is set to bring a continuous infusion of youth and energy to Radio România, while also addressing the need for practical training in education.
The partnership includes plans for workshops, masterclasses, and creative labs, enhancing the educational experience for students. Furthermore, the two institutions aim to develop joint projects with national and international participation, including involvement in major festivals and European initiatives.
Robert Cristian Schwartz, the General Director of SRR, and Prof. Univ. Dr. Liviu Lucaci, the Rector of UNATC, are both optimistic about the extraordinary opportunities this agreement opens up for their institutions. The projects will be promoted across the platforms of both organizations, ensuring widespread visibility and engagement.
