Stay Fit Gym plans significant expansion to meet growing fitness demand
Stay Fit Gym, one of Romania's largest fitness chains, is poised for significant growth in the coming years. With 75 operational centers across 26 cities, including major hubs like Bucharest, Cluj, and Brașov, the company is set to expand further, estimating to end 2026 with around 85 centers and nearly 33 million euros in revenue.
Founded in 2012 by Marius Preodișteanu, Alexandru Lascăr, and Laurențiu Lascăr, Stay Fit Gym has experienced remarkable growth, especially after Morphosis Capital acquired a majority stake in December 2021. This investment has fueled the gym's expansion, allowing it to support an annual growth rate of 20-30 centers.
Looking ahead, Marius Preodișteanu has indicated plans to enter 6-7 new cities by 2027, emphasizing that the local fitness market still holds significant potential for development. The company is committed to a dual approach of growing in existing cities while also tapping into new geographical areas.
Stay Fit Gym's strategic expansion includes a substantial investment budget of over 15 million euros for 2026. As consumer interest in sports and wellness services continues to rise, the company is preparing to take its next steps towards international growth, marking a new phase in its business evolution.
