Schoenherr România invites law students to showcase their talent in the sixth edition of 'law, sweet law' essay competition

Schoenherr România is set to launch the sixth edition of its essay competition, 'law, sweet law,' aimed at engaging law students from across the country. This year's competition opens on October 13, 2026, and invites second and third-year students from all Romanian law faculties to participate.

Participants will have the opportunity to write essays on ten thought-provoking themes, ranging from banking and finance to intellectual property and real estate. Each theme presents unique challenges, like exploring the implications of AI on counterfeiting or examining the legal frameworks surrounding environmental claims in commercial activities.

The competition offers ten prizes, each worth 3,000 RON, making it a substantial opportunity for aspiring legal minds. Students must submit their essays by November 8, 2026, with evaluations taking place until November 30, 2026. Selected candidates will be interviewed between December 7 and 11, 2026, with winners announced on December 16, 2026.

In addition to the prizes, all participants will be eligible for a paid summer internship program at the law firm in 2027. This initiative not only rewards academic excellence but also provides a stepping stone into the legal profession for young talents.
