Romania strengthens defense ties with Italy amid regional tensions

In a significant gesture of support, Italy has deployed four Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft to Romania, bolstering the country's air defense capabilities. This deployment comes in the wake of a recent drone incident in Galați, where a Russian drone struck an apartment block, injuring two individuals. Looking ahead, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Romania is set to organize a ministerial conference this autumn, in collaboration with the Central European Initiative's Secretariat in Italy.
