Romania showcases investment opportunities at Expo Real 2026
Romania's presence at Expo Real 2026 is set to enhance the country’s position on the European map of investments and real estate development. This year, the event takes place in Munich from October 5-7, marking the 13th consecutive year that AHK Romania has coordinated the national representation.
Under the leadership of Sebastian Metz, AHK Romania is committed to highlighting the impressive growth in modern office spaces across the country, with major business centers totaling around 4.5 million square meters. Notably, approximately 3.5 million square meters of these spaces are located in Bucharest, indicating the capital's significant role in the business landscape.
The retail sector is also thriving, encompassing over 4.6 million square meters of modern commercial space. This diverse array of real estate opportunities is further complemented by the efforts of local authorities, such as the Oradea City Hall and ADLO, which are actively promoting investment opportunities in industry, logistics, technology, and innovation.
In Târgu Mureș, the County Council, the City Hall, the University, and Visit Mureș are working together to showcase the investment potential of the region. Similarly, the Centru Regional Development Agency is emphasizing the strong manufacturing base in its area.
Several key players in the real estate and urban development sectors will also be present at the expo. Nhood Services Romania aims to forge partnerships for sustainable urban regeneration, while Hotspot Workhub and REC Partners focus on flexible workspace solutions. VGP Romania is showcasing locations across the country, and firms like Quadratum Architecture and CONCELEX are offering integrated design, engineering, and construction solutions.
ZEBLEX will demonstrate its expertise in design and engineering, and Filip & Company is on hand to connect with investors and developers seeking legal assistance. Additionally, The Concept Group will promote investment opportunities and develop new cross-border partnerships.
AHK Romania plays a vital role in increasing the visibility of Romania's projects and investment opportunities. The national presence at Expo Real 2026 represents a significant step towards establishing lasting collaborations that will benefit the Romanian economy.
