Romania shines at the European Geography Olympiad with five gold medals
Romania has made a remarkable mark at the European Geography Olympiad held in Varna, Bulgaria, clinching an impressive five gold medals. This achievement showcases the exceptional talent and dedication of Romanian students in the field of geography.
Among the standout performers is Matei Eftime from Brașov, who earned a silver medal as part of the national team. His contribution highlights the hard work and commitment of all the students involved in this prestigious competition.
Other notable gold medalists include Mateșescu-Pașcalău Bogdan-Andrei from Colegiul Național "C.D.Loga" Timișoara, Toma Tudor from Liceul Teoretic Internațional de Informatică București, Dumitrescu David-Mihai from Colegiul Național "Carol I" Craiova, who achieved the highest score in the contest, Aramă Alexandra-Mihaela from Colegiul Național Iași, and Păun Eduard-Ionuț from Colegiul Național "Unirea", Focșani.
