Meanwhile, the U19 women's team, favored at number two, also reached the final but was ultimately bested by France with a score of 0-3.
In the mixed doubles category, Robert Istrate and Bianca Mei-Roșu, who were ranked third, displayed great skill and determination. Their final match against top seeds Robert–Antoine Noirault and Leana Hochart concluded with a close score of 1-3, with set scores of 11-13, 11-4, 10-12, and 10-12.
The success of the teams can be attributed to the dedicated coaching staff, which included Bogdan Albescu, Istvan Gyorgy, Mădălin Ionașcu, Alexandru Dincă, Anamaria Sebe, psychologist Mioara Șincan, physiotherapist Mircea Lascăr, and physical trainer Andrei Gherase.
Looking ahead, Romania will also host the European Individual Seniors Championship in 2028, marking another significant achievement for the nation in the world of table tennis.
