Romania celebrates seventh place in women's synchronized diving at European Championships

Romania's diving team has made a commendable appearance at the European Championships in Paris, securing seventh place in the women's synchronized diving event from the 10-meter platform. The duo of Ioana-Andreea Cârcu and Nazanin-Adelyne Ellahi showcased their skills, finishing with a total of 225 points.

Although Cârcu and Ellahi placed last in the standings, their determination and teamwork were evident throughout the competition. The gold medal in this event was claimed by the British pair Maisie Bond and Lois Toulson, who achieved an impressive score of 300.06 points.

In the men's category, Alexandru Avasiloae competed on the 1-meter springboard, finishing 20th with a score of 292.30 points. He narrowly missed advancing to the final, which featured the top 12 out of 31 competitors. The event was dominated by Moritz Linus Wesemann, who won the gold medal with a remarkable score of 431.45 points.
