Romania celebrates bronze in men's four at Under-23 Rowing World Championships

Romania proudly secured a bronze medal in the men's four event at the Under-23 Rowing World Championships held in Duisburg, Germany. The team clocked an impressive time of 06 minutes 07 seconds and 07 hundredths, showcasing their skill and determination.

In addition to the men's four, several other Romanian crews also performed commendably. Patrick Francisc Sebestyen and Eduard Angel Moldovan reached the finals in the men's double sculls with a time of 06 minutes 32 seconds and 99 hundredths. This placed them just behind Australia, which finished with a time of 06:32.91, and Greece, which won the event in 06:29.26.

The women's double sculls saw Iuliana Irina Cantoriu and Iuliana Isabela Boldea finish with a time of 07 minutes 26 seconds and 46 hundredths. Meanwhile, the men's double sculls featured David Costel Chitic and Daniel Vasile Chitic, who were timed at 06 minutes 30 seconds and 37 hundredths.

Romania's women’s four crew completed their race in 06 minutes 44 seconds and 19 hundredths. The competition was tough, with the other four crews finishing fifth in their respective finals.

Looking ahead, Romania is set to compete in two more finals on Sunday: the women's single sculls, featuring Bianca Ifteni, and the mixed eight plus one event, promising even more excitement for the Romanian team.
