Rituals expands its presence in Romania with 15 stores and plans for more
Rituals Cosmetics has successfully opened 15 stores across Romania, solidifying its commitment to bringing luxury and sustainable wellness products to a wider audience. Among these, seven stores are located in Bucharest, showcasing the brand's strong foothold in the capital.
Looking ahead, Rituals plans to open four new stores in Romania. These will be situated at strategic locations including Balotești in DN1 Value Center, Galați Shopping City, Promenada in Craiova, and Atrium in Arad. This expansion reflects the brand's ongoing growth and dedication to enhancing customer experience.
In addition to opening new stores, Rituals is actively seeking employees for various positions, including store managers and assistant managers. Opportunities are also available at their stores in AFI Cotroceni, Mega Mall, and Băneasa Shopping City, highlighting the company's commitment to building a strong local workforce.
On a global scale, Rituals Cosmetics is embarking on a significant renovation project, investing 40 million euros to refresh 1,500 boutiques across 30 countries. This extensive transformation will begin in August and is expected to be completed within 30 days, including all 15 stores in Romania.
Founded in Amsterdam in 2000 by Raymond Cloosterman, Rituals has grown to operate nearly 1,500 of its own stores and has over 4,500 points of sale in luxury department stores and perfumeries worldwide. The brand operates in 33 countries, with global net revenues reaching 2.43 billion euros in 2025, reflecting a 16% increase from the previous year. Last year alone, over 200 new stores were opened globally, underscoring Rituals' rapid expansion and success in the luxury market.
