Orange sets the standard for internet speed in Romania

Orange has emerged as the fastest mobile and fiber network in Romania, boasting impressive average speeds for mobile data of 97 Mbps for downloads and 28 Mbps for uploads. For fixed internet services, Orange leads with remarkable average speeds of 593 Mbps for downloads and 554 Mbps for uploads, with options for residential customers reaching up to 2.1 Gbps.

In the business sector, Orange offers even greater potential, providing speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The company is also at the forefront of 5G technology, delivering capabilities that reach speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps, with coverage available in 138 cities and surrounding areas.

The commitment to excellence is recognized with an external audit from LCC International, which has renewed Orange's certification as the best mobile network, effective until the end of 2025. Recent SpeedGeo results reaffirm Orange's position as the fastest provider for fiber optic internet.

For residential clients, Orange has conducted its first tests of Standalone 5G technology, offering speeds of up to 1,500 Mbps through 5G+.
