Nearly 30,000 Job Opportunities Available in Romania

A remarkable 29,723 job vacancies have been reported across Romania, highlighting a vibrant labor market. This data was compiled by the National Agency for Employment (ANOFM) on August 12, showcasing a range of positions that cater to various skills and qualifications.

The demand for drivers is particularly high, with 3,103 positions available for road transport operators. Additionally, there are 1,914 vacancies for couriers and 1,301 for unskilled workers in construction-related roles such as demolition and masonry.

Job seekers will also find opportunities as merchandise handlers, with 1,235 positions open, and in retail, with 1,069 roles available for commercial workers. Other notable vacancies include 790 positions for security agents and 514 for kitchen assistants.

A significant portion of the job market is focused on sectors like transport, logistics, construction, commerce, and services. Of the total vacancies, 15,746 are designated for individuals without formal education or with primary and lower secondary education, including positions for couriers and security agents.

For those with vocational training, there are 6,601 jobs available, including roles for truck drivers, welders, and mechanics. High school graduates can apply for 5,392 positions, which encompass sales agents, cashiers, and general medical assistants.

There are also 1,984 job openings for university graduates, with opportunities for engineers, managers, and various specialists. Furthermore, the EURES network offers 141 positions in the European Economic Area, with the most substantial demand coming from Norway, which has 45 roles for salmon production workers.

The Netherlands is offering 30 jobs for truck mechanics and drivers, while Sweden has 20 positions for bus drivers. Germany is looking for 20 workers in vineyards and meat processing, and Ireland has 13 caregiver roles available. Lastly, Denmark offers four positions for carpenters and CNC programmers, reflecting the broad scope of opportunities available for job seekers in Romania and beyond.
