This event is part of his European tour titled 'Oxygene & Beyond', which will kick off on September 21, 2027, in Katowice and will include performances in cities such as Budapest, Berlin, and Paris.
The anniversary of 'Oxygène', originally released in 1976, will also be celebrated with a special edition set for release on November 20, 2026. This edition will feature a stereo remaster, Dolby Atmos and 5.1 versions, along with additional materials, allowing fans to experience the album in a new light.
Jarre, who has sold over 80 million albums throughout his career, is known for his significant contributions to electronic music. His concerts have broken audience records, with a notable performance in Paris in 1990 attracting an estimated 2.5 million attendees.
In addition to his concert in Cluj-Napoca, Jarre will perform a special concert on October 21, 2027, at AFAS Live, titled 'Oxygene & Beyond: A Sonic Journey Celebrating 30 Years of ADE'. His participation at the Amsterdam Dance Event will also include discussions focused on the relationship between music, technology, artificial intelligence, and creativity.
As he prepares for the tour, Jarre is working on a new studio album to be released in the spring of 2027, with live performances of its compositions expected during the 'Oxygene & Beyond' tour. The concert in Cluj-Napoca is organized by KIMARO Entertainment and supported by Kiss FM, with tickets available on get-in.ro.
Jarre expressed his excitement for the upcoming events, stating, 'This tour is both a celebration of where it all began and an invitation to imagine what comes next. The adventure continues.'
