Disney+ offers significant discounts for new and returning subscribers in Romania

Disney+ has launched a new promotional campaign, providing a temporary price reduction of approximately 31% for its Standard subscription and around 33% for the Premium option. This offer is available to both new users and former subscribers in Romania, allowing them to enjoy a wide array of content at a lower cost.

For three months, the Standard subscription will be priced at 23.99 lei per month, down from the usual 34.99 lei. Meanwhile, the Premium subscription can be purchased for 39.99 lei per month, reduced from its standard price of 59.99 lei. This promotion is set to end on July 28, and subscribers should note that their plans will automatically renew at the standard rate unless canceled before the billing date.

In addition to the reduced prices, Disney+ is enhancing its catalog with new films and series. Exciting recent releases include the animated feature "Hopperi (Hoppers)" from Disney and Pixar, as well as "Avatar: Foc şi Cenuşă" from 20th Century Studios.

This strategic move comes in a competitive streaming landscape, as Netflix recently modified its terms in Romania and hinted at the potential introduction of advertisements. Additionally, the platform Voyo has increased its subscription prices to capture a larger market share. Amidst these changes, Disney+ is making strides to attract viewers with both lower prices and fresh content.
