DEHN opens its first production unit in Romania, creating new job opportunities

The German company DEHN has inaugurated its first production facility in Romania, marking a significant milestone for both the company and the local economy. Located in CTPark Pitești, this new factory is set to produce surge protection devices, contributing to DEHN's global manufacturing network.

CTPark Pitești spans an impressive 9,500 square meters and is strategically positioned near the A1/E70 highway, allowing for quick access to Bucharest, Western Europe, and the Port of Constanța. This location was a key factor in DEHN's decision to invest in Romania after evaluating several options across Europe.

The development of this facility began in the summer of 2025, with CTP managing the entire process from land identification to construction. The investment is expected to create up to 150 jobs in production, logistics, and support services, providing a boost to the local workforce.

DEHN cited the availability of specialized labor and the proximity to technical universities in the region as additional advantages for its decision. As CTPark Pitești grows, it will reach approximately 80,000 square meters of industrial space, further solidifying its role as one of Romania's key industrial and automotive hubs.

With operations already underway, DEHN's new unit will complement the automated production in Germany, enhancing the company's ability to serve its clients effectively. This venture not only reflects DEHN's commitment to expanding its footprint in Romania but also illustrates the potential of the local economy to attract significant foreign investment.
