Chindia Târgoviște prepares for exciting move to new Dâmbovița Arena

Chindia Târgoviște is set to make an exciting transition to the nearly completed Dâmbovița Arena, which boasts 12,000 seats. The stadium is expected to be operational by early 2027, with the possibility of hosting matches as soon as December this year.

Club officials are already making plans for an inaugural match, and there is potential for Barcelona B to come to Romania for this significant event. This partnership with Barcelona could enhance the experience for both players and fans in Târgoviște.

Florin Gardoș, the president of Chindia Târgoviște, expressed optimism about the new stadium, noting its impressive design. He visited the construction site in April and is eager for the team to play in this modern facility.

Gardoș mentioned that a match against FCSB could create a more impactful experience for supporters, especially if the inaugural event occurs in February. While he acknowledges that not many might know players from Barcelona B, the excitement surrounding the new arena is palpable among the local community.
