The event, held from June 23-24, 2026, marked its third edition and showcased the collaboration between leading academic institutions.

Hosted by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), the conference brought together participants from 14 elite universities, including educators, researchers, industry representatives, and SAP professionals. Under the slogan 'Engage. Learn. Network,' the event served as a pivotal moment for consolidating the regional academic community.

The agenda combined strategic perspectives with applied learning, featuring plenary sessions that addressed critical topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, sustainability, business process innovation, and the development of digital talent. Additionally, the Train-the-Trainer sessions provided educators with the opportunity to explore SAP's educational resources.

A strategic partnership between SAP and CIG-ASE has been thriving for a decade, integrating SAP solutions into over 15 undergraduate and master's programs. This initiative has transformed more than 1,000 students digitally each year, preparing them for an evolving professional landscape.

Dr. Michael Nuernberg, Global Director of Academic Partner Success at SAP University Partnerships, emphasized the importance of university collaborations in equipping students for a rapidly changing work environment. The conference served as a valuable platform for exchanging ideas, best practices, and experiences among all participants, fostering a collaborative spirit in education and industry alike.

With key figures such as Prof. Constantin Marius Profiroiu, Prorector for International Relations at ASE, and Prof. Liliana Ionescu-Feleagă, Dean of CIG-ASE, present, the event highlighted the ongoing commitment to advancing education through innovative partnerships.
