Brașov welcomes the Gaudeamus Book Fair, a celebration of literature and culture

The Târgul de carte Gaudeamus Radio România has made its way to Brașov, bringing a vibrant celebration of literature and culture to the heart of the city. This year marks a special occasion as the fair is hosted in the picturesque Piața Sfatului, a spot that attracts both locals and tourists alike.

With over 40 publishers in attendance, the fair showcases a diverse array of books, along with distribution agencies focused on music and educational games. This year’s event is particularly notable as it is the first summer edition of the Gaudeamus Book Fair, which has been a significant part of Romania's literary landscape for over a quarter of a century.

The fair is open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and will continue until Sunday, allowing plenty of time for visitors to explore the offerings. As the event reaches its third day, it has already become a hub of activity, drawing in crowds eager to celebrate the written word.
