Brantner Green Solutions welcomes new majority partner Paprec Group

Brantner Green Solutions is set to strengthen its operations with the acquisition of an 80% stake by Paprec Group. The family-owned Brantner will retain a 20% share, ensuring its continued involvement in the company.

This partnership is focused solely on Brantner Green Solutions, while the other branches of the Brantner family enterprise, including Brantner Logistic Solutions and Brantner Real Estate, will remain fully under family ownership. The completion of this transaction is pending necessary regulatory approvals.

Founded in 1936, Brantner has established itself as a key player in waste collection, sorting, recycling, and management. With a robust network of 65 facilities and subsidiaries across Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Serbia, Brantner serves over 28,000 municipal, industrial, and commercial clients.

Brantner Green Solutions has demonstrated impressive financial performance, generating revenues exceeding 320 million euros. Following the transaction, Paprec Group, led by President and CEO Mathieu Petithuguenin, will employ approximately 26,000 people across 15 countries and is projected to achieve annual revenues of over 4.5 billion euros.
