Alin Roman, a key midfielder for UTA, has extended his contract with the team until the summer of 2028. At 32 years old, Roman has made a significant impact in the SuperLigă, recording 13 assists last season.

Despite receiving an enticing offer from China, Roman chose to remain in Romania, prioritizing his family above all else. He shared that family is his top focus and emphasized that financial considerations were not a factor in his decision.

With his wife expecting a child, Roman feels a strong sense of responsibility to stay close to home. He acknowledged that his wife has provided him with the balance he needed to continue his football career.

Looking ahead, Roman mentioned the possibility of exploring new opportunities if the right offer comes along in the next year or two, but for now, he is committed to UTA and his family's future.
