AI DAY to Foster Business Growth with Practical AI Implementation in Romania
AI DAY is set to be the first business event in Romania dedicated exclusively to the practical implementation of artificial intelligence in companies. Scheduled for July 1, 2026, at the Hotel Marmorosch in Bucharest, the event will gather over 120 business leaders from various sectors.
Among the participants are CEOs, CFOs, CMOs, HR directors, digitalization officers, and entrepreneurs who are eager to explore AI's transformative potential. The event promises to include international specialists in AI implementation, legal experts on the AI Act, and representatives from regulatory authorities such as ANCOM.
AI DAY is structured around four complementary pillars: legislative, strategic, operational, and human. This framework aims to provide clarity, context, and actionable tools for businesses looking to integrate AI solutions effectively.
Notable figures contributing to AI DAY include Florin Cristian Vidu, Head of Department at ANCOM, and Alina Pârâială from the Romanian Authority for Digitalization. They will engage in dialogue about the obligations and strategies related to AI implementation.
The event will also deliver a comprehensive action plan for the first 30 days of AI integration, offering concrete steps for organizations. This is particularly timely, as the second half of 2026 marks a critical phase in strengthening the European AI framework, following the adoption of the Digital Omnibus Agreement in May.
AI DAY will serve as a platform for open dialogue between the private sector, regulatory authorities, and AI specialists. Florina Oneţiu, President of the Romanian Innovation Cluster, emphasized that AI is essential for the competitiveness of European organizations and noted Romania's potential to become a significant player in the European innovation ecosystem.
Additionally, AI DAY will analyze the obligations of the AI Act applicable to organizations, facilitating discussions with executive leaders who are implementing AI. This initiative, along with the event in Brussels on June 25, 2026, aims to turn legislative challenges into strategic opportunities for the development of the Romanian economy.
