Romania to Host FIBA Youth EuroBasket Finals in 2026
In a remarkable achievement for Romanian basketball, the country will host three FIBA Youth EuroBasket tournaments in the summer of 2026. This event will take place from July 31 to August 22, transforming Romania into a vibrant hub for young basketball talent from across Europe.
The cities of Tulcea, Oradea, and Pitești will serve as hosts for the tournaments. Oradea will welcome the FIBA U16 EuroBasket from August 7 to 15, while Pitești will host the FIBA U16 Women's EuroBasket from August 14 to 22. Tulcea will be the site for the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, Division B, scheduled from July 31 to August 9.
