Over 33,000 Job Opportunities Available Across Romania

A remarkable 33,981 job openings are currently available nationwide in Romania, providing a diverse range of employment opportunities for job seekers. This report, dated Wednesday, June 10, highlights the growing job market and the various sectors looking to hire.

Among the available positions, the demand for transport drivers is notable, with 2,754 openings specifically for road transport drivers. Additionally, 2,263 positions are available for goods handlers, while 1,929 jobs are up for grabs for couriers.

The construction sector also has significant hiring needs, with 1,862 roles for unskilled workers involved in demolition and masonry, alongside 953 positions for those working in the cutting and breaking of construction materials.

For those with different skill sets, there are 1,380 jobs for commercial workers, 917 for security agents, and 869 for unskilled assembly and installation workers. The food industry is also seeking talent, with 770 openings for kitchen workers and 869 for assistant cooks.

Educational background plays a role in the available positions, with 2,320 jobs aimed at individuals with higher education, 6,047 for those with high school or post-secondary qualifications, and 8,665 for vocational graduates. Notably, 16,949 positions are available for individuals without formal education or with only primary or gymnasium schooling.

In addition to local opportunities, 217 jobs are accessible through EURES Romania in the European Economic Area, with openings in Malta (81), Norway (45), Spain (30), Germany (20), Sweden (20), the Netherlands (11), Ireland (5), and Denmark (5).
