Orchestra Operei Naționale București to Perform at Ravello Festival in 2026

A remarkable celebration of culture is set to take place on July 12, 2026, when the Orchestra Operei Naționale București will perform a gala concert at the iconic Villa Rufolo. This concert marks the conclusion of the Romanian semester of the Year of Culture Romania-Italy, an initiative designed to strengthen cultural ties between the two nations.

The Villa Rufolo, a historic venue suspended above the stunning Amalfi Coast, is a fitting backdrop for this prestigious event. The concert will feature renowned violinist Alexandru Tomescu, who will perform on the exquisite Stradivarius Elder-Voicu. He will interpret the beloved "La Campanella" (Violin Concerto No. 2 in B minor) by Niccolò Paganini, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

In addition to Tomescu's performance, the ONB Orchestra will present George Enescu's Rapsodia Română nr. 2 and Tchaikovsky's Suite "Lacul lebedelor."
