Normal expands its presence with plans for new stores in Romania
Normal, a retail chain founded in 2013, is making strides in Romania with plans to open 10-15 new stores locally. This expansion is part of a broader strategy that has seen Normal grow to nearly 1,000 stores across 11 European countries.
Specializing in offering well-known brand products at fixed and accessible prices, Normal's range includes personal care items, cleaning supplies, sweets, beverages, toys, and everyday essentials. The store consistently updates its product offerings, featuring both established international brands and unique products not commonly found in the local market.
In addition to Normal's expansion, the Mega Mall in Bucharest is buzzing with activity. The mall, which was inaugurated following a significant investment of 165 million euros, spans approximately 200,000 square meters and houses over 200 shops.
Recently, several stores have made headlines with their openings and renovations. A new DAAR jewelry store, part of the TEILOR Group, opened its doors in Mega Mall on June 11, while the TEILOR store itself was modernized and reopened in April. On June 13, the C&A store welcomed shoppers in a newly redesigned space covering over 1,500 square meters across two levels.
Responding to customer demand, PEPCO is also making a return to Mega Mall, further enhancing the shopping experience. The mall features a wide array of amenities, including a food court of 10,000 square meters, a WorldClass fitness center with a semi-Olympic swimming pool, and a Cinema City with 14 state-of-the-art screens equipped with 4Dx technology.
The entertainment options in Mega Mall are plentiful, with TrickShot offering modern recreational spaces, a 24/7 game room, and a play area by Gymboland, making it a family-friendly destination. With a parking capacity of approximately 3,000 spaces over seven levels, including 1,000 rooftop spots, Mega Mall ensures convenience for all its visitors.
