Mihai Lixandru seeks new opportunities amid transfer talks
Mihai Lixandru, a promising 24-year-old midfielder, has expressed his desire to leave FCSB by the summer of 2026. His current club is open to negotiations, with Gigi Becali stating he would let Lixandru go for a fee of 500,000 euros.
In the 2025/2026 season, Lixandru showcased his talent by scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists in 45 appearances. His market value has been assessed at 900,000 euros, reflecting his potential and skill on the field. Notably, Ilie Dumitrescu has praised him as 'the best central midfielder in Romania,' urging clubs to invest in him.
Becali is on the lookout for midfielders with different qualities, which could influence Lixandru's future with the team. With Darius Olaru recently transferred to Union Saint-Gilloise for 3 million euros, FCSB is actively reshaping its roster.
Lixandru has also caught the attention of a Russian team willing to meet the 500,000 euros asking price. He had previously received an offer from Kazakhstan but chose not to pursue that opportunity. Additionally, he is seeking a monthly salary of 40,000 euros, indicating his ambitions for his career.
