Mahadi Kayondo Mahrez has signed with Cetatea Suceava, a team that recently celebrated its promotion to Liga 2. The club achieved this milestone by winning Series 1 of Liga 3, finishing first in the play-off with an impressive record of victories, including a notable win against local rivals Șoimii Gura Humorului.
At 29 years old, Mahadi brings a wealth of experience to the team, having played for various clubs, including ACS Poli Timișoara, CSC Ghiroda și Giarmata Vii, CSM Deva, Steaua București, and CSM Slatina, where he contributed significantly in the previous season with one goal and an assist over nearly 600 minutes of play.
Cetatea Suceava, founded in 1932, has a rich history, having undergone several name changes throughout the years. The club is now focused on the future, aiming for a spot in the play-off of the next Liga 2 season.
