Kromberg & Schubert launches major recruitment drive in Arad, offering significant bonuses

Kromberg & Schubert, a company operating a factory in Nădab, near Chișineu-Criș, is taking a bold step to double its workforce. To attract new talent, the company has reintroduced a hiring bonus of 1,500 lei starting June 1, alongside a referral bonus of the same amount for those who help recruit new employees.

This initiative comes at a crucial time for the region, which has faced significant challenges, including mass layoffs and factory closures. The unemployment rate in Arad County has reached 2.32%, the highest level recorded in the past decade, with recent job losses affecting hundreds of workers from Astra Rail Industries, Aptiv, and Leoni.

With plans to expand its workforce to approximately 3,000 employees, Kromberg & Schubert aims to recruit up to 500 individuals from outside the European Union. This move is seen as a lifeline for the local economy, with Chișineu-Criș Mayor Ovidiu Guleș emphasizing the positive impact of this investment.

Furthermore, Alexandru Molnar, director of the Arad County Employment Agency, has noted that the new positions could provide opportunities for those who have been laid off in recent years. As Kromberg & Schubert embarks on this massive recruitment period, the community looks forward to a revival in job availability and economic stability.
