Gebruder Weiss România achieves significant growth in home delivery services

In 2025, Gebruder Weiss România managed approximately 170,000 shipments to final recipients, marking a remarkable 25% increase from the 134,400 shipments recorded the previous year.

This growth reflects an expanding trend in home delivery services, with the total volume transported reaching around 43,800 tons. This figure represents a 10.6% rise compared to the 39,600 tons reported in 2024.

The company's efficient logistics are supported by regional hubs located in Bucharest, Arad, and Cluj-Napoca, allowing them to handle the increasing demand effectively. Peaks in activity are particularly noted during the months of June, September, and October, aligning with seasonal shopping trends.

Viorel Leca, the General Director of Gebruder Weiss România, highlighted the growing importance of home deliveries for companies in the DIY, retail, and furniture sectors. He has observed a clear shift in customer expectations, with clients seeking not just transport services but reliable delivery processes.

To meet these evolving needs, the company offers a modular portfolio of last-mile delivery services. This includes transportation with two operators, express deliveries within 24-48 hours, scheduled time slots, and Saturday distributions, ensuring a comprehensive experience for the end recipient.
