Craiova welcomes Romania's first Lefties store

Craiova is celebrating the arrival of Romania's first Lefties store, which opened its doors in October 2023. This new addition coincides with the opening of the Promenada mall, marking a significant moment for the local retail landscape.

Lefties, a brand founded in 1999 to utilize leftover stock from Zara, has evolved into an independent label with its own design team. Known for its diverse collections and accessible prices, Lefties is set to attract a fashion-conscious audience in Romania.

While other Lefties locations already exist in Timișoara, Suceava, and Ploiești, the new store in Craiova enhances the brand’s visibility in the region. With a spacious area of 3,200 square meters, the store occupies a site that was formerly home to a C&A outlet, which had been established in the AFI Cotroceni mall since its opening in 2009.

Lefties may not be as prominently recognized as other brands under the Inditex umbrella, which includes Zara, Massimo Dutti, and Bershka, but its commitment to offering stylish, affordable fashion makes it a valuable addition to the market. The opening of this store reinforces Lefties' position as a go-to destination for modern fashion at accessible prices.
