Cătălin Scărlătescu to Open Restaurant in Zanzibar This Fall
Cătălin Scărlătescu is set to open a restaurant in Zanzibar, bringing a taste of Romania to this beautiful island. Partnering with Cătălin Cazacu, they aim to replicate the concept that made Scărlătescu famous back home.
The new restaurant will not only feature the beloved menu but will also incorporate entertainment elements that suit the exotic destination. Cătălin Cazacu believes that their establishment could rank among the top three restaurants on the island.
Plans for the restaurant are already well underway, with the potential to welcome its first customers in October and an official inauguration planned for November. The location boasts six spacious rooms that will serve dual purposes for both owners and tourists.
Cătălin Cazacu has reassured that the construction is progressing on schedule, having had the space for some time now. Living arrangements are also in place, as both Cazacu and Scărlătescu will reside in the restaurant’s rooms, offsetting some living expenses.
With a flight time of approximately nine hours from Romania, Zanzibar is not only a stunning vacation spot but also offers a warm escape year-round. Cazacu highlighted that it’s an excellent alternative for sun-seekers outside of the Christmas season.
